Born and raised in Southern California, Todd C. Ream serves at Indiana Wesleyan University as University Professor, Executive Director of Faculty Scholarship, and Senior Fellow for Programming for the Lumen Research Institute.
He also serves as Senior Fellow for Public Engagement for the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities and as Publisher for Christian Scholar’s Review.
As the Publisher for Christian Scholar’s Review, Todd hosts the weekly “Saturdays at Seven” conversation series with “thought leaders about the academic vocation and the relationship that vocation shares with the Church.”
Previously, he served on college and university campuses in residence life, student support services, honors programs, and as a chief student development officer.
Todd is the author or editor of nineteen books and is presently writing The Academic Vocation (under contract with Oxford University Press) and Hesburgh of Notre Dame: An American Prophet (1957-1972) (under contract with Catholic University of America Press).
Todd has also contributed over 200 articles, editorials, interviews, and reviews to a wide variety of journals, magazines, and newspapers including: About Campus; America; Christianity Today; Crux; First Things; the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette; the Hedgehog Review; the Heythrop Journal; Inside Higher Ed; Modern Theology; the National Catholic Reporter; New Blackfriars; Notre Dame Magazine; the Review of Higher Education; and Teachers College Record.
Todd and his wife, Sara, are members of Northview Church-Kokomo where Sara serves as Kids Pastor. Their daughter, Addison, and son-in-law, Owen, are graduate students at Duke University and their daughter, Ashley, is an undergraduate student at Westmont College.
